Fromme Mountain is legendary in North Vancouver and beyond for its mountain biking; north-shore style riding with big drops and skinnies, where full-faced helmets and body armour are not uncommon. This weekend was the first time I’ve actually been to Fromme, and I was filled with trepidation; mountains are intimidating in their own respect, and this one has the added element of being turbo charged with adrenaline. I was nervous that the mountain would send me running off, never to return again. Instead, Fromme managed to delight. I laughed out loud at the unexpected snow that lazily coated the forest with a primer of white, making the mountain seem like a gentle giant. Thanks for the welcome Fromme…green circle trails here I come!
